After acquiring a considerable fortune and the consequent social position, Don Clemente, born in Ribadeo, returned to the town and acquired two outbuildings that he partly rebuilt and fitted out to create a single home.
It is, therefore, a reform carried out on existing buildings, it is not a new construction, a rare circumstance in Indian architecture, hence its uniqueness and also its architectural value.
In fact, on the façade of the building, the preexistence of two independent buildings is evident.
