Les Armoiries de la villeLe blason de la ville représente quatre mains. L'homophonie entre Manosque et "manus" (la main, en latin) est sans doute à l'origine du choix de ce symbole. Pour le reste, Manosque au Moyen Âge ayant quatre portes d'accès et étant divisé en quatre quartiers biens distincts (Palais, Hébréards, Martels, Paysans), il est probable que ces armoiries symbolisent l'unité du territoire manosquin et le rassemblement de ses habitants.

The coat of arms of the city The coat of arms of the city represents four hands. The homophony between Manosque and "manus" (the hand, in Latin) is undoubtedly the origin of the choice of this symbol. For the rest, Manosque in the Middle Ages having four access doors and being divided into four distinct districts (Palaces, Hebréards, Martels, Peasants), it is probable that these coats of arms symbolize the unity of the Manosquin territory and the gathering of its inhabitants.
