Västra Sönnarslövs chapel is built in the place were a medieval church once was until 1894.
After the church was knock down 1894 and a new church was built 2km away the peolple still used the cemetry.
So in 1936 Augusta Lasson leave by will 10.000 sek to build a chapel on the cemetry. Drawing were maid by builder Sture Svensson from Kvidinge. The chapel was built by the brothers "Pålsson" in 1939.
The chapel was built of red bricks that have been plasterd with white lime and the roof tiles is made of red clay.
Inside the chapel there is seats for accommodates 30 people. The baptismal is made of a tree that stod there the chapel was built.
Today the chapel service of mostley baptism, funerals and weddings.
In the cemetry there are approximately 60 graves and a wodden cross and a bell tower.
