Churchyard cemetery of St Philip & St James' church, Atlow.

"This small village parish church is well maintained and the churchyard appears likewise. There is a notice board near the road with up to date and relevant notices on it, and there is ample layby parking. The churchyard around the church has many well maintained graves within it and the whole area is free of litter and grafetti [sic]. At the back of the church, away from the road, is a low stone wall. Unfortunately, in terms of a findagrave experience, beyond the low church wall there are actually many more graves in an area that has seemingly received no maintenance for quite sometime. As the photos show many of the graves there are partly hidden or overgrown by vegetation and many have totally disappeared from view."

It would appear that since the Findagrave entry was written (2013), the section of cemetery beyond the wall has been tidied up. The grass neatly trimmed, and no longer overgrown.
