The former train station serving the village of Arraiolos was deactivated in 1987 and it has been abandoned since then.

This train station was built in 1910 and deactivated in 1987. It was part of an extension of the Portuguese railways network, the "ramal de Mora". There is plenty information about this line in Wikipedia (Portuguese only):

Nowadays the line was transformed in a hiking route and the station can be visited while walking it. The main building is closed but the depot is open.

There are a few buildings, all in the same condition, forming a compound. It's an atmospheric place offering great photo opportunities. Easy access and safe.
