The museum presents the history of how aircraft evolved as a vital partner to ground and sea operations from WWI to present. The docents will regale you with nostalgic and inspirational stories and have answers to many questions. Your admission fee includes a docent lead tour through the artifacts and exhibits.
It's a hands-on walk through the working hangar. You'll see aircraft mechanics bring powerful engines to lif, and you can climb aboard our bombers and cargo planes.
The museum is staffed with volunteers almost exclusively. They are caretakers of some of the rarest planes in the world. Your donations have made it possible to restore six WWII airplanes to flying status. The Museum collection is over 50 aircraft from pre-WWI to the Vietnam War.
The museum is open Wednesday through Saturday - depending on the Phoenix weather! Please check days and hours before planning your visit.
