Tyholdt Tower is a 124 m high radio tower. In the tower there is also a viewing platform as well as a revolving restaurant. The restaurant is called Egon and rotates 360 degrees in one hour. There are views of Trondheim and the Trondheim fjord. The restaurant is 12 angular and with large glass windows.
Tyholdt Tower was built in 1985 and was designed by the architect Nils Christian Ottesen.
If you have a fear of heights, it is a bad idea to go up the tower, as the windows are from floor to ceiling. However, there is a nice view over the city and the mountains.
