The Brachychiton Rupestre or narrow leafed bottle tree is naturally found in the surrounding district, this specimen is 9.51m in circumference, a 6m trunk and 20m crown. The name bottle refers to it's shape not the ability to hold water. They can live for more than two hundred years, some still growing on Mt Abundance were described by explorer Thomas Mitchell in 1846.
