This beach is one of many along the Gulf in Pinellas County. While more uneventful than the nearby beaches such as Johns Pass and Clearwater Beach, this beach still offers many things to locals and tourists alike. There are a couple nearby parks such as Park Boulevard and Del Bello Park. There is a plethora of restaurants such as Broke N’ Board and Seabreeze Island Grill. There is a seabird sanctuary with free admission to all visitors that I suggest you stop at. The beach is even home to one of the famous Candy Kitchens. While no dogs, cars, or bikes are allowed on the beach, you are still allowed to swim, dig, play volleyball, and other usual beach activities.
