This Angel of Hope statue is in front of the St. Rose of Lima school in Newtown, CT.

On the granite plinth it states that the statue was placed December 14, 2013. It also states that there is a candlelight vigil every December 6.

This is in the Sandy Hook section of Newtown. In this same village on December 14, 2012, there was a school shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School. This statue was placed on the first anniversary of that shooting.
