"One of the first neo-Gothic churches in Picardy. Bell tower extended by a nave and a choir rebuilt between 1846 and 1851 on the plans of the Abbeville architect Hyacinthe Vimeux. Only the 16th-17th century bell tower with its stone spire was preserved

The old church had a low nave flanked by a single aisle and ended with a flamboyant choir with canted sides vaulted in stone.

In 1841, the municipal council decided to rebuild the central vessel by adding two aisles to it. Vimeux adopted the basilica plan consisting, in the extension of the old bell tower-porch, of a ten-bay nave with a simple aisle which runs along the choir up to the level of the five-sided apse.

Inside, the sculpture is concentrated on the capitals of the piers of the nave, executed by the Duthoit brothers. The stained glass windows are entrusted to renowned artists including Stéphane Bazin. Cavaillé-Coll organ installed in 1877."

L'ancienne église présentait une nef basse flanquée d'un seul bas-côté et terminée par un choeur flamboyant à pans coupés voûté en pierre.

En 1841, le conseil municipal décida la reconstruction du vaisseau central en lui adjoignant deux bas-côtés. Vimeux adopta le plan basilical constitué, dans le prolongement du clocher-porche ancien, d'une nef à dix travées à bas-côté simple qui longe le choeur jusqu'au niveau de l'abside à cinq pans.

A l'intérieur, la sculpture est concentrée sur les chapiteaux des piles de la nef, exécutés par les frères Duthoit. Les vitraux sont confiés à des artistes de renom dont Stéphane Bazin. Orgue de Cavaillé-Coll installé en 1877. "
