The history of the parish church of St. George dates back to the turn of the thirteenth and fourteenth centuries. The first parish church of St. George in Debiensk Wielki had wooden structures.
The wooden church has survived for several hundred years, and in 1798 the construction of a brick church began. The baroque church was consecrated in 1800. In 1913, in view of the increasing number of believers, the church was expanded to the eastern part, significantly increasing the space of the building.
