This headstone is for Dorothy R. Schenk, who is buried at Lakeside Cemetery in Erie, Pennsylvania. The headstone only gives the years Mrs. Schenk lived, without the months or days. It states that she lived from 1904 to 2005. She is buried next to her husband, Carl, who died in 1962. Thus, she was a widow for over 40 years!

According to her obituary, Dorothy was born on June 21, 1904 and died on April 13, 2005. She was the daughter of William and Emmajane Gordon Kephart. She lived in Wesleyville, just outside of the city of Erie, and with her husband Carl had six children, four sons and two daughters. She also had many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. May she rest in peace.
