, gesitueerd op het westelijk uiteinde van de middenberm in de Nassaustraat en in de gevellijn van de Oranjestraat. De piron op de helm werd bekroond door een bordje met de tekst: "Vrije Plakplaats".
Uitgangspunten van het ontwerp zijn de eenvoudige geometrische grondvormen van de cilinder (schacht) en de kegel (dak). De schacht met uitspringende voet is gecementeerd. De bekroning met piron is van zink. De enige decoratie is een lijst van acanthusbladeren op het ojiefvormige profiel onder de dakrand.
De aanplakzuil maakt deel uit van de tussen 1894 en 1909 tot ontwikkeling gebrachte woonwijk Lombok, en dateert waarschijnlijk uit het eerste kwart van de 20e eeuw.
Is daarmee de oudste aanplakzuil in Arnhem

- Van cultuurhistorische waarde als bijzondere uitdrukking van de typologische ontwikkeling van de aanplakzuil; vanwege de bestemming, welke verbonden is met de ontwikkeling van reclame-uitingen in het begin van de twintigste eeuw. Het object heeft voorts ensemblewaarde vanwege de oorspronkelijke situering, in relatie met de ontwikkeling van de arbeiderswijk "Lombok" omstreeks de eeuwwende. Als zodanig heeft deze aanplakzuil zeldzaamheidswaarde.

Cylindrical POSTING COLUMN with helmet, situated on the western end of the central reservation in the Nassaustraat and in the gable line of the Oranjestraat. The pin on the helmet was crowned by a sign with the text: "Free Sticky Place".
Starting points of the design are the simple geometric basic shapes of the cylinder (shaft) and the cone (roof). The shaft with protruding foot is cemented. The crown with piron is made of zinc. The only decoration is a frame of acanthus leaves on the ojie-shaped profile under the eaves.
The billboard is part of the Lombok residential area, which was developed between 1894 and 1909, and probably dates from the first quarter of the 20th century.
Appreciation
POSTING COLUMN from ca. 1900-1925.
- Of cultural-historical value as a special expression of the typological development of the billboard; because of its destination, which is linked to the development of advertising in the early twentieth century. The object also has ensemble value because of its original location, in relation to the development of the working-class district "Lombok" around the turn of the century. As such, this postercolumn has rarity value.
