This cairn, of local river and creek rocks, was erected to carry the plaque of the family donating the land and facilities to the city to become City Park.

GERALD CITY PARK
This plaque is dedicated to the Dayton Stewart family who made the land available. The Gerald Lions Club for acquiring the land and to all those through their generosity who made this park possible
