DE: Der Bahnhof im Kölner Stadtteil Ehrenfeld wurde vor Jahren über den Ehrenfeldgürtel gebaut. Die Fassade der Brückenkonstruktion, auf die der Bahnhof gebaut wurde, verrottete und musste dringend erneuert werden, aber die notwendigen Geldmittel dafür fehlten. Verschiedene Künstler erarbeiteten ein Konzept mit der Stadt und konnten so die Fassade in Teilen ab 2014 restaurieren.
An der Ecke Ehrenfeldgürtel und Stammstraße wurde aus kleinen Steinchen mit Mosaiktechnik von Künstlerin Barbara Deppner in ein rechteckiges Feld von etwa 1m x 3m ein kompletter Tierkreis erstellt. Unter den einzelnen Bildern, die das jeweilige Sternzeichen recht eindeutig darstellen, befindet sich eine Kachel mit dem Namen des Sternzeichens und dem jeweiligen Zeitrahmen im Jahr.

EN: The train station in Cologne's Ehrenfeld district was built over the Ehrenfeld belt years ago. The facade of the bridge construction on which the station was built was rotting and urgently needed to be replaced, but the necessary funds were lacking. Various artists worked out a concept with the city and were able to restore parts of the facade from 2014 onwards.
At the corner of Ehrenfeldgürtel and Stammstraße, a complete zodiac was created from small stones using mosaic technique by artist Barbara Deppner in a rectangular field of about 1m x 3m. Under the individual images, which clearly represent the respective zodiac sign, there is a tile with the name of the zodiac sign and the respective time frame in the year.
