Op onze vakantie hebben wij heerlijk gelunched bij het Parkhuis Rosarium in Doorn. Bij het vertrekken viel mij een bordje bij een boom op en het bleek dat deze boom, een Liquidamber Stiraciflua 'Worplesdon' (een Amerikaanse amberboom), was geplant in 2019 als viering van het 70-jarig bestaan van de Rotary club Doorn. De boom is gedoneerd door de broedervereniging Rotary Club Islington, Highgate and Muswell Hill uit Londen.

On our holiday we had a delicious lunch at the Parkhuis Rosarium in Doorn. When I left I noticed a sign near a tree and it turned out that this tree, a Liquidamber Stiraciflua 'Worplesdon' (an American sweet gum), had been planted in 2019 to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Rotary club Doorn. The tree was donated by the Rotary Club Islington, Highgate and Muswell Hill brother association of London.
