Council of State: 18th century Valois wing by Contant-d'Ivry; fitting out of Fontaine (1815, Hall of Trophies); handrail of the staircase made by the ironworker Corbin and the bronzier Caffieri; Litigation wing on the site of the old opera house, rebuilt by Prosper Chabrol after the fire of 1871; West wing completely redone after the fire of 1871: general assembly room decorated by Henri Martin from 1913 to 1926, neo-Gothic style chapel, Colonial room fitted out from 1858 to 1862 by Prince Napoleon. Ministry of Culture: 17th century wing of Lemercier, altered in the 18th century by Contant-d'Ivry and in the 19th century by Fontaine (Pavillon de Valois).
