Bird watching tower on the southwest edge of the Dalum-Wietmarscher Moor

On the southwestern edge of the Dalum-Wietmarscher Moor, in the area of the community Wietmarschen, in the district Füchtenfeld, there is a bird watching tower and an interactive Moorkate on the topics "Natura 2000" and "Moore for climate protection".

The bog is the home of many rare animals and plants, from birds such as Whinchat and Bluethroat to Moor Frogs and Schlingnattern.
I myself have observed a number of ducks, herons and even 6 cranes that stood in a group on a nearby pasture.
