Kambah Pool is Canberra's legal nude beach on the Murrumbidgee River. It has been a legal nude beach since the 1970s.
The gates are open in summer: 08:00 - 21:00
The gates are open in winter: 08:00 - 18:00
The car park is a 200m walk to the designated nude bathing area.
When you arrive at the carpark you have a choice to go down the stairs to rock pool and follow the river downstream, or proceed along the path past the toliet block and down a very steep footpath.
There are 'Nude Bathing' signs to indicate you have arrived at the designated area.
The swimming is quite good with a deep swimming hole. Caution is needed as there are many submerged rocks.
