The education center is located on the marshland of San Francisco Bay. The building sits on elevated legs, so it doesn't touch the salt marsh. Around the building is a deck and inside is a small museum. The center is located by the Dumbarton Bridge. Around the center are hiking trails, like the Bay Trail.
