A unknown field artillery piece at an American Legion Hall
Waymark Code: WM14ETX
Location: California, United States

A lighter artillery piece (57mm?) that has been stripped down. Essentially, it is the tube, the carriage-frame, and the original wheels, although the tires seem to be off-the-shelf road tires.
Barrel markings are obscured, the carriage-plate is missing, and any other markings are buried under a thick overcoat of paint.
The relic is part of a monument to some soldiers killed in a truck accident in 1947.
The piece can be found at the American Legion Hall at 3509 First St, Fresno, CA
(there is also the very well-preserved California boxcar from the Merci Train on site)
