Where Indian Rt. 12 intersects with I 40, travelers have the opportunity to park along historic Route 66 and observe rail traffic. It is possible to see several trains in a short time as this overlooks a Burlington Northern Santa Fe double track mainline. What makes this spot special is the conjunction of the historic Route 66 asphalt, the train activity and the scenic sandstone cliffs in the distance. This is a great place for photography. Located on the Navajo nation, travelers can exit and enter I 40 from either direction
