See this cottage-style former gas station. They're known for soft serve ice cream cones and sundaes since 1951. Also burgers and fries. They serve a uniquely-designed Route 66 cookie, shaped like the Route 66 shield.

Charles Duboise and his mother Treva bought the joint in 1980 and will regale you with tales of Commerce history and famous son, Mickey Mantle and a Bonnie and Clyde shootout. Don’t forget to bring cash. Credit cards are no good, here.

Charles also has ran 5 miles a day for over 25 years.
