Chevron Pump - Nara Visa, NM - Vintage Gasoline Pumps on Waymarking.com

Nara Visa is a village of 102 people on the New Mexico/Texas border. A busy highway and the railroad pass through town but commercial activity has ceased. The Chevron station has been abandoned. My estimate is that this is a Bennett model 966 pump. The station has two pumps for regular and two for unleaded. Although faded, they still bear the emblem of Chevron. The advertising dome on top of the pump is missing. The last price on the pump is $1.24.
