The town of Pocasset is located on Highway 81 about 11 miles north of Chickasha. It originated as a siding on the CRI&P railroad line. Primarily agricultural, the town has dwindled to about 1/3 of its highest population in 1918.

This is a cylindrical water tank located on Adams Street, on the north edge of Pocasset in a rural residential area. It is painted white with the name of the town and zip code in black.
