This is a modern, horizontal headstone made of gray granite. Mrs. Reeves's information is on the right side, while a cross separates her information from that of her husband. The headstone reads:

Mr. Reeves's Findagrave page (below) notes that he is listed on the Tablets of the Missing at the Manila American Cemetery. He was a Machinist's Mate First Class, posthumously decorated with the American Campaign Medal, the World War II Victory Medal, and the Purple Heart. He was among the crew of 273 aboard the USS Meredith (DD-434), a Gleaves-class destroyer, which departed Espíritu Santo Island on October 12, 1942. The ship was part of a supply convoy whose mission was to aid forces on Guadalcanal, but it was attacked by Japanese forces on October 15 and sunk after putting up a strong fight. Only eighty-one men survived.
