This war memorial is in the form of a blocked gate way in the west wall surrounding the village hall

There is a short inscription on the top of the left hand gate post with a further one on the right hand gate post that was added after World War II.
Between the gate posts is a stone in the shape of a headstone with what looks like a hand made carving.
