The Kasteel d'Oultremont is a castle in Nieuwkuijk in the Dutch province of North Brabant. The castle is located on the site of the former theme park Land Van Ever. Previously, the castle was also called Huis te Drunen.
Until the construction of the Land van Ooit (when the castle was painted pink(!)), the castle was still owned by the counts of d'Oultremont, and the castle was inhabited by an administrator. After the bankruptcy of the theme park, the municipality of Heusden bought the estate.
In 2009 the name of the park was changed to Poort van Heusden. The choice of name has to do with the new connection to the A59 motorway that will be constructed on the site of the former car park. If it is up to the municipality, the park will be divided into a publicly accessible part, a freely accessible attraction and a paid tourist attraction. The municipality leaves the implementation of the plans to other parties. One of the conditions is that the pink color of the castle disappears. The renovation of the castle started in 2019, which also removed the pink color of the castle, which many local residents loathe. There is also a new zoning plan in which the estate will regain its original name 'Steenenburg'. The new zoning plan provides for housing and the construction of a medical campus on the estate
Heusden wants to sell the castle after the restoration and would like it to be given a more or less public destination, which includes restaurant/catering.
