The City Hall disaster in Heusden took place in the night of 4 to 5 November 1944, during the last months of the Second World War in the southern Netherlands. While the Allies were advancing in Brabant, the Germans sought refuge behind a new line (the Bergsche Maas). They blew up the highest points, the town hall of Heusden and two church towers of Heusden. 134 people died that night.
