This Zinc headstone replaces the original headstone that had probably aged poorly. Currently this headstone glows during the day and is hard to miss among the drab colored headstones. Buried at this headstone is:
Harry H. Jenkins
Born January 31, 1839
Died November 20, 1902
Therrisa C. Jenkins
Born July 13, 1845
Died April 27, 1928
The headstone itself is two graves wide and seems to be a kit of sorts as there are interchangable plates on the grave and on the southside of the stone is the name "Jenkins".
On the East side is Jesus hanging on a cross with the text "Cleft for us." On the south side is two panels, the one on the left has a circle of chain links with one broken with the text: "Another link is broken in our household band, but a chain is forming in a better land," while on the right is Jesus on a cross with the text: "Gone from our home but not from our hearts." On the western side is an anchor with the surrounding text: "Christ is the" and "of our hopes," which states that Christ is the anchor of our hopes.
