Het Stormpoldervloedbos is een natuurgebied aan de rand van thans industriegebied de Stormpolder in Krimpen aan den IJssel in de Nederlandse provincie Zuid-Holland. Het gebied is te bereiken via de Van der Giessenweg. Lange tijd is het buitendijkse gebied gebruikt als griendengebied, waar wilgenhout werd verbouwd. In de tweede helft van de twintigste eeuw nam de vraag naar griendhout af en het regelmatig hakken van de wilgen bleef achterwege.

In 1993 werd de kade werd hersteld en in de kade werden verlagingen aangebracht, 'overlaten' genoemd, waardoor water in en uit kan stromen. Wanneer het water hoger wordt dan normaal, werken de overlaten er aan mee dat het hele gebied volstroomt, zodat een te grote druk van buiten af op de kaden wordt voorkomen. Door het hele gebied werden geulen gegraven, waardoor overal de getijdenwerking merkbaar wordt. In de noordwesthoek van het Stormvloedpolderbos (direct links van de ingang) is een stukje van de oorspronkelijke hakgriend hersteld. Er ligt een aparte kade omheen en er is een originele griendheuvel gebouwd: een kleine terp die in vroeger tijden als vluchtplaats diende bij hoog water.

The Stormpolder tidal forest is a nature reserve on the edge of the current industrial area of ??the Stormpolder in Krimpen aan den IJssel in the Dutch province of South Holland. In 1993 the quay was repaired and depressions, called 'spills', were made in the quay, through which water can flow in and out. When the water gets higher than normal, the spillways help to fill the entire area, preventing too much pressure from outside on the quays. Channels were dug throughout the area, making the tidal effect noticeable everywhere. In the northwest corner of the Storm Flood Polder Forest (immediately left of the entrance) a piece of the original grit has been restored. There is a separate quay around it and an original willow hill has been built: a small mound that in earlier times served as a refuge during high water.
