A church was mentioned for the first time in 1341, the current one was built around 1480. It is one of the oldest preserved half-timbered churches in Northern Hesse. Built in the late Gothic style, the two-storey building was used as a fruit store at times, but also as a syringe house and has only 24 seats. From the 1960s it was used as a church again and restored in the 1960s and early 1990s (according to other information, 1998). Source: ( visit link)
