The box is in the centre of the small village of Ledsham next to The Chequers Inn on Claypit Lane.
The box is a Historic England Grade II Listed Building and is a K6 type box. So if it's no longer used as a phone, but can't be moved because it's listed, what better use could there be but to install a defibrillator.
It can be used in case of emergency as a first aid device whilst waiting for professional help.
