"Jack R. Nugent passed away on May 31, 2020 at the age of 79 at his home.

"Jack was born December 8, 1940 in Chicago, IL to Robert and Helen Nugent nee Tate.

"Jack worked for Machinist/Tool and Die for Sherwin Williams in Chicago, IL, Anheuser Busch St. Louis, MO, IAMAW Business Representative for District 8 in Chicago, IL, IAMAW Business Representative for District 9, St. Louis, MO, GLR for the International Association of Machinist and Aerospace Workers (IAMAW) and retired in 2005. Jack served on the board of Directors for Labor Studies for the Prairie State College. Jack and Dru loved to travel and have had the privilege to visit all 50 states. Since 2005 they have been able to enjoy their winters in St. Augustine, FL. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

"He is survived by his beloved wife Dru Nugent nee Woodson of Wentzville, Missouri; two daughters, Kathy (Jeff) Fraser of St. Peters, MO, Sandra (Terry) Palisch of Richardson, TX; step-daughter, Tamra (Jerry) Sumrall of Ridgedale, MO; step-son, Gabe (Faye) Anderson of Warrenton, MO; four grandsons, Zack (Katelyn) Palisch, Austin (Alli) Palisch, Jacob Palisch, Pace Anderson; three granddaughters, Tesla (Tommy) Krajewski, Taylor Sumrall, Tara Sumrall; three great-granddaughters, Blaine Ward, Isabella Sumrall, Dru Sumrall; two brothers, Tom (Dorothy) Nugent of Castle Rock Co., CO, Rich (Wendy) Nugent of Springhill, FL; many nieces and nephews; He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Nugent, mother, Helen Nugent nee Tate, grandparents, Albert and Blanche Nugent nee Miller, Byron and Minnie Finn Tate.

"In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to COPD foundation in care of Pitman Funeral Home P.O. Box 248 Wentzville, MO 63385." ~ Pittman Funeral Home
