The memorial is in the form of a stone calvary cross with protecting gable. 4 steps lead up to plinth with dedication on front and names on the two sides. Laurel wreaths are carved on the moulding above leading to the cross.
The memorial commemorates the men who died in WWI from the small villages of Ledsham, Ledston and Newton.
