The volktuinen (community gardens) are on the north side of Waalwijk. The community gardens have an association and you can become a member. The association facilitates many things such as
- Purchase of seeds, earth, fertilizer etc
- Maintain the (infra)structure (water, electricity, fences, parking)
- Communication to and with members (quarterly newsletter)

New members need to discuss with the Allocation Committee

Each new member is introduced to a member of this committee. On the basis of the registration form, they will see what the possibilities are at that moment. In principle every starter starts with a garden of 50 m2.

If you have demonstrable experience with a larger plot, you may be eligible for a plot of 100, 150 or 200 m2. Incumbent members have priority over new members.
