[FR] Le 2 octobre 1979, il est ramené à Villeneuve d'Ascq, où la commune prend l'initiative de conserver le moulin et de participer financièrement à sa reconstruction.
Commencés en novembre 1984, les travaux sont achevés en 1988. Le moulin est apte à moudre le blé et à bluter la farine.

Begun in November 1984, the restoration was completed in 1988. The windmill is able to grind wheat and sift flour.
