In 2018, for his eagle service project Dominic Zampiceni from Boy Scout Troop 185, sponsored by the Agawam Baptist Church, researched, fabricated and installed a trail of wildlife identification stations around the perimeter of the central ballfield in School Street Park.

The sign at station 1 at N42 04.566 W72 35.593 identifies the project. It is inscribed:

The Wildlife of School Street Park

School Street Park is filled with many different species of animals
thanks to the combination of wooded and wetlands in the
local area. These signs highlight some of the common
you may see in town on a regular basis as well as a few
know lived nearby. All of these species were observed
identified over a yearlong period. Please enjoy all that the park has
to offer, but remember to keep the park clean and respect
the habitat of it's "residents".

This was the Eagle Scout Project of Dominic Zampiceni
completed in June of 2018 and was made possible by
Hastie Fence Co., Rocky's Ace Hardware and Sign Techniques.
Special thanks to The Town of Agawam Parks and Recreation Department
and Office of the Mayor.

The sign at station 2 at N42 04.513 W72 35.613 identifies with a picture and describes Predator Birds of School Street Park: Red Tailed Hawk, Bald Eagle, and Barred Owl.

The sign at station 3 at N42 04.483 W72 35.640 identifies with a picture and describes Woodland Animals of School Street Park: Raccoon, White Tailed Deer, and Red Fox
