DE: Im kleinen Zen-Garten, der sich auf dem Gelände des im Jahr 2008 in Waldbröl gegründeten Institutes für angewandten Bhuddismus (EIAB) befindet, ist ein asiatischer Glockenturm (eine sogenannte Stupa) aufgestellt. Die Glocke befindet sich dabei an einem langen Seil aufgehängt in etwa einem Meter Höhe über dem Boden. Angeschlagen wird sie während einiger bhuddistischer Zeremonien über einen Hartholzstamm von aussen.
Auf der mattschwarz lackierten Messingglocke sind neben dem Logo des EIAB(vermutlich) chinesische und vietnamesische Schriften angebracht sowie in abgesetzten Kreisen die Sprüche "Intersein", "Höre mit Mitgefühl" und "Für eine bessere Welt".

EN: An Asian bell tower (a so-called stupa) has been erected in the small Zen garden on the grounds of the Institute for Applied Buddhism (EIAB), which was founded in Waldbröl in 2008. The bell is suspended from a long rope at a height of about one meter above the ground. During some Buddhist ceremonies she is struck over a hardwood trunk from the outside.
On the matt black lacquered brass bell, next to the logo of the EIAB, there are (presumably) Chinese and Vietnamese writings as well as the slogans "Interference", "Hear with compassion" and "For a better world" in separate circles.
