The smartflower is a 5 meter high system that contains solar panels in the shape of petals. When folded out, the solar panels resemble a large sunflower, hence the name for this inventive system. The smartflower has an area of 18m2 when unfolded.
The flower will turn with the sun so that it catches enough sunlight all day long, from sunrise to sunset. When it is too windy the smartflower automatically "closes".
