With the construction of Sloan Field nearby (spring training grounds for the Chicago Cubs) Riverview Park underwent major renovation and is now Mesa's premier park. The large park has two children's play areas, several climbing areas (including the 60' Genesis Tower), open areas for field sports, picnic areas, and sidewalks for walking and jogging. You can even fish in the lake.
