Also known as geocache GC6VAR6, Ginger, this appears to be the remains of a Ford Pinto. All the mechanical parts, engine, transmission and running gear, have been removed as has the trim. The top was cut off or possibly it was a convertible. The number of vents on the front do not match the Pinto nor does the interior match the VW Rabbit, another possible choice. So I really cannot confirm a make or model. It is located 900 feet and several desert washes from the nearest road. The heavier parts were probably stripped off elsewhere and the remains pushed out here to clutter the desert for another century.
