At the end of the 16th century, it was agreed to build a new municipal headquarters, since the previous Town Hall, located in Porcillán, was quite deteriorated. This project was modified and improved in the 18th century and housed the municipal offices until 1945, at which time it was decided to move it to the Pazo de Ibáñez, now the Town Hall. These two mansions have balconies from the Sargadelos Blacksmiths.
