"Mr. James Scott Bremmer, of Marthasville, MO., passed away on Monday November 5, 2019 at Cedar Crest Nursing Home in Washington, MO. James was born on November 22, 1929 in Harrisonville, MO., the son of the late John and Helen (nee: Scott) Bremmer. James had reached the age of 89 years, 11 months and 13 days.

"James served our country in the United States Army and stayed active in the military reserves. He was married to Marcia Frick on August 16, 1952 in Warrenton, MO. He graduated from Oklahoma State in 1953 James worked as a commercial pilot and also had a career in sales, along with 2 patents.

"James loved being with Marcia, they spent 63 wonderful years together before her passing in 2016. This union was blessed with three children.

"James was preceded in death by his parents, John and Helen; his loving wife, Marcia; two children, Helen Bremmer and James Bremmer. He is survived by one daughter, Susan Bremmer; and one brother, John Bremmer.

"Graveside services will be held on Friday, November 22, 2019, 10:00 AM at Warrenton City Cemetery. Memorial donations for Mr. James Scott Bremmer are preferred to the family of James Bremmer for the Tree Remembrance Program at Warrenton City Cemetery." ~ Find-A-Grave


"Marcia M. Bremmer age 86, of Marthasville was at home surrounded by her loving family when she passed away on Friday April 1, 2016.

"She was born on October 01, 1929 in Warrenton, Missouri to Benjamin and Lillian (Hill) Frick. She was united in marriage to James Bremmer on August 16, 1952. This union was blessed with three children.

"Marcia was a switch board operator for St Lukes Hospital for 17 years. She was a wonderful wife, mother and sister. She loved being with her family and traveling with her husband. She also enjoyed fishing.

"Marcia is survived by loving husband of 63 years James, one daughter Susan Bremmer, one brother Robert Frick and wife Carolyn, many other friends and relatives.

"She was preceded in death by one son James Bremmer Jr., one daughter Helen Bremmer, her parents Benjamin and Lillian, two brothers Bill and Ben Frick and one sister Mary Ann Symes.

"A graveside service will be held on Saturday April 16, 2016 at 1:00 pm at the Warrenton City Cemetery." ~ Find-A-Grave
