Baptists first began to gather in this small community in 1872. They built a fine white-frame church on this site in 1916. Having outgrown the first building, it was moved across the street and this new church and sanctuary was constructed in 2000. The church, while still affiliated with the Baptists, now calls itself "The Bridge." You can read more at the historical marker at the old church.
