A Step Back in Time
Cache Creek celebrates the 50s and 60s. If you remember this era, Cache Creek is the place to visit. The entire town's theme is based round the 50s and 60s. Girls in poodle skirts to that 57' Chevy cruisin' downtown are common sights in this quaint community.
Cache Creek is in the Thompson-Nicola Regional District in beautiful British Columbia. It has approximately 1,040 residents in this small community. The logo on the Village of Cache Creek Municipal Office features a 57' Chevy setting the tone, for a step back in time.
Cache Creek was incorporated as a village in 1967. The name refers to the fur trade era of the early 1800s, when supplies were "cached" nearby by the fur traders. The village originated as a stopping house on the Cariboo Road during the Cariboo Gold Rush of the 1860s.

Village of Cache Creek Municipal Office is an unimpressive small light blue building, one story with a flat roof. This was most likely build circa 1950s.
