The Chautauqua Bookstore is located in the Post Office building at 67 Bestor Plaza in the Chautauqua Institution in western New York. The Bookstore was opened in 1907 and moved to its present location in 1931. The store offers a wide selection of books from all genres, including a large section of children's books, games, and toys. They also have a section for local history and books related to the speakers that visit the Institution during the summer season. The bookstore is a great place to find unique gifts and souvenirs as well.

During most of the year, the Chautauqua Institution is open to the public. However, there is a nine-week season from June to August when there is an entrance fee on Mondays through Saturdays.
