DE: Das bis zu den 1920er Jahren von der Familie Sechtem ausgeübte Stellmacherhandwerk wurde aufgrund der steigenden Zulassungen von PKW's aufgegeben und man wandte sich der Sargherstellung und damit einhergehend auch dem Bestatterhandwerk zu. Dazu baute man in der Bonnstraße 14 - 16 in Brühl ein neues Gebäude mit einer Trauerhalle.
Heute kümmert sich das Familienunternehmen mit den Angehörigen um die verschiedenen Aspekte rund um die Bestattung. Neben der Trauerbegleitung werden auch die verschiedenen in Deutschland zulässigen Bestattungsmöglichkeiten wie Erdbestattung (z.B. auf dem nahe gelegenen Brühler Friedhof), anonyme und Waldbestattungen in einem Friedwald, See- und Feuerbestattungen angeboten. Überführungen und die Übernahme sämtlicher Formalitäten bei Behörden und Institutionen (wie Versicherungen), Organisation der Trauerfeier und der Beisetzung sowie der damit verbundenen Drucksachen (Todesanzeige in der zeitung, Trauerkarten und Danksagungen) werden auf Wunsch der Trauernden ebenfalls übernommen.
Zu Lebzeiten möglich ist auch die Bestattungsvorsorge, in der man sich ausführlich zur eigenen Beerdigung informieren und entsprechende Arrangements mit dem Bestatter absprechen kann, so dass den späteren Hinterbliebenen schwierige Entscheidungen und eventuell Kosten erspart bleiben.
Geöffnet hat das Büro Montags bis Freitags von 8:00 bis 17:00 Uhr, sowie Samstags von 9:00 bis 12:00 Uhr sowie nach Vereinbarung. Im Trauerfall kann das Unternehmen rund um die Uhr telefonisch unter +49 2232 42564 erreicht werden.
