A Step Back in Time
Cache Creek celebrates the 50s and 60s. If you remember this era, Cache Creek is the place to visit. The entire town's theme is based round the 50s and 60s. Girls in poodle skirts to that 57' Chevy cruisin' downtown are common sights in this quaint community.
Cache Creek is in the Thompson-Nicola Regional District in beautiful British Columbia. It has approximately 980 residents in this small community. The logo on the visitor center features a 57' Chevy setting the tone, for a step back in time.
Guelph Stove is a small stove with a large reservoir and oven with temperature gauge. The flat surface top has four cooking places. The only identification is on the oven door. This stove was one of their smaller units and likely circa 1920s. I have found other Guelph stoves that were very large and impressive.
Wednesday is baking day.
Guelph Stove Company began as a small foundry in 1897 and became Guelph Stove Company in 1904. The T. Eaton Co. started carrying Guelph stoves and eventually purchased the company in 1919.
